Rain Drops

The rain falls like a mist
Across my naked face
It falls so gently
Like a lovers kiss on my cheek
I brush my hand across my face
The wetness feels like spiderwebs
Clinging gently to my skin

Forest

The shadows dance dappled across my skin
Breaking through the canopy
Bugs skitter through the underbrush
Birds sing high above
The air feels cool
A slight breeze dances among the leaves
The rustling makes the birds twirl and dive
Its so serene and everything is in its place
So softly that I can't hear
A deer steps out into my sight
I hold my breathe as she looks at me
She snorts then bounds away
So awe inspiring is the forest

Wind

The wind blows sharp
Leaves get scattered across the ground
It sneaks through my layers
Makes me shiver with its cold touch
I lift my face into the breeze
I breathe deep the smell that it brings
Rain and earth are deeply entwined
It makes my head spin
It lifts my soul and makes me fly
My hair lifts and spins in the air
Like hawks cartwheeling in the sky
I open my arms to embrace the feeling within
I laugh aloud and listen to the sound being whipped away
The wind taking it to hear
Day by day
I dance within the breeze
Feeling quite free
I breathe out my tension
And let myself be
Just as the wind lets itself be

Why is it so confining here?
Can I please go?
I'm stuck
Stuck inside

I just want to roam
Feet are itchin for that long road
Eyes are searching for that star filled sky
All I can see is these chains inside

Wings are clipped
Legs tied
I shall break free and fly

Halloween

Its Samhain's night
Black cats on the prowl
The smell of pumpkin pie
Floats down the street
Kids dressed up
In ghoulish delight
Trick or Treat
They call down the street
Ghosts float by
Lanterns light the sky
Jack-o-lanterns leer
Kids shriek with delight
At the sheer terror in their sight

Dancing through out the night
Showing thanks to Mother Earths light
Singing with all of our might
Dancing without spite

Curled under a blanket
Good book in hand
Purring kitten sleeping soundly
World going on silently
Rain falling steadily
Grab a mug of coffee
Warm drink in hand
Enjoy the day
Cool as it is
Under a nice warm blanket
Book in hand

Runny and wet
Curled up content
Snuggled up warm
Coco and book in hand

Long hard days
Short sweet nights
Yowls tear through the quiet
SHUT THE HELL UP CAT!
Rolling over
Finding a comfortable postion
Toss and turn
Well shit
I'm awake now.

Cry

Bright blue eyes
Soft luminous white fur
Playful nature
Cuddling all night long
Taken from us way too soon
Crying for us in the dead of the night
Longing to be home
Gentle lady comes by
Soft gentle hands
Loving heart
Companion on the lonely nights
Warm strong arms
Bright souls brought together
Until the time comes that family comes back together
